Thermomix beef stew (traditional homemade recipe)

Would you like to learn how to make a delicious beef stew with Thermomix? As a child, my favorite food was Beef Stew. How happy I was the day I came home from school and my mother had this stew on the table for me! She did it in the pot, as she had been taught by my grandmother. And I have adapted the recipe to do it with the thermomixsince these types of stews come out very well in this robot.

It’s a stewideal for children, a traditional recipe. you can do it with vealas in this case, as long as it is very tender, or withmeaty pork ribs. Either way, the result is great. Keep in mind that the times will vary depending on the hardness of the potatoes and the meat.

Thermomix beef stew recipe

Ingredients

1 small onion
3 garlic cloves
3 tomatoes
30g olive oil
1 piece of very tender beef
Salt
Pepper
500 ml of water
1 splash of white wine
3 medium potatoes
Laurel
Optional: saffron or food coloring

How to make beef stew in Thermomix

Place the onion, garlic, tomatoes and oil in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 seconds at speed 5.
We fry 10 minutes, at 100º, in speed 2.
Add the chopped and seasoned meat, and fry for 5 minutes, at 100º, speed 1.
Add the water, wine, bay leaf, potatoes and coloring (optional) and program 30 minutes, at 100º, turn to the left, spoon speed.
Season to taste and serve.
